The Bay Point Yacht Club, Incorporated Board of Directors, composed of the Flag Officers and Directors, meets at 16:00 on the first Monday of every month in the club’s clubhouse.

Past Commodores of the yacht club joined the Florida Commodores Association in 2009.  The chapter meets regularly at the clubhouse.

Commodore Vince Murphy was sworn in for the 2024 year by Past Commodore Tim Couty at the 2024 Change of Watch.

On Tuesday, February 7th, the Bay Point Yacht Club chapter of the Florida Commodores Association held its initial meeting of the 2023 year.  A hearty breakfast was provided and served by Past Commodore Jack Kennedy, BPYC FCA Secretary/Treasurer.

During the meeting, the members elected Past Commodore Tim Couty to be the 2023 President of the chapter.  Members also received an update on the Point South Marina Bay Point (formerly Bay Point Marina) from the General Manager, Justin Bannerman.

Bay Point Yacht Club, Incorporated’s Florida Commodores Association (FCA) is a charter chapter of the association.  The Bay Point Yacht Club, Incorporated’s chapter of the FCA held its inaugural meeting on May 9, 2009.

The mission for the organization is “To establish an international community of past commodores of recognized yacht clubs, promoting customs and traditions through educational, charitable, and social programs.  The BPYC chapter of the FCA meets semi-annually at the yacht club.
